The construction works were programmed to fit around the school year and were carried out on time.Mythen Construction's commitment to a quality service and product is evident in all completed projects.Description: Construction and fit out of a new two storey 30,000sq ft extension to the existing building, link building connecting to existing, alterations and remodelling works to the existing conference room, services/utility outbuildings, siteworks, landscaping and sundry related works. The main extension features high quality curtain walling designed specifically to deal with the environmental conditions with the use of Kooltherm glass. The RC frame was constructed using a class 1 exposed finish concrete for all columns, slabs and lift shafts GBBS concrete was used on this project. A new feature acoustic ceiling was installed and new servery facility. Work commenced on the refurbishment of Wexford Swimming Pool in January 2009, beginning with the demolition of the ancillary accommodation adjacent to the Pool Hall and the removal of all existing services and mechanical equipment. Concurrent with the demolition of the identified areas was the construction of a new caravan park office for the adjacent caravan park facility. All the new accommodation comprising of the Public Lobby, Changing Village, Learner Pool, ancillary areas, Plant Room and first floor Fitness Studio incorporating mezzanine floor for a gym was constructed and finishes and fit-out applied.
