The project was finished to a demanding quality standard and delivered within budget.The Talbot Hotel, Wexford, which underwent a refurbishment in two phases to extremely tight deadlines.Architecturally complex and physically challenging - this project involved a test for both engineers & craftsman. The works included all aspects from demolition through to fitting out of bar furniture.Description:  Construction of a magnificent indoor hurling arena, nestled comfortably into the Blackstairs background.  The project consisted of initial site clearance and construction of indoor arena.  The building has both steel and concrete frame elements with a single skin metal roof.  The arena consists of a 40m x 24m fully synthetic playing pitch, an entrance foyer, trophy room, fully enclosed viewing gallery, toilets, meeting and storage rooms. Work commenced on the refurbishment of Wexford Swimming  Pool in January 2009, beginning with the demolition of the ancillary accommodation adjacent to the Pool Hall and the removal of all existing services and mechanical equipment. Concurrent with the demolition of the identified areas was the construction of a new caravan park office for the adjacent caravan park facility. 
All the new accommodation comprising of the Public Lobby, Changing Village, Learner Pool, ancillary areas, Plant Room and first floor Fitness Studio incorporating mezzanine floor for a gym was constructed and finishes and fit-out applied. Parlon roof on concrete structure. Filtration, heating, air handling equipment and the boiler utilising renewable fuel source, have been installed.
