Mythen Construction has won a vast array of contracts from the commercial sector since our establishment in 1994. Many of these are repeat customers Ð testament to the success of our hands-on approach to each contract, and to our commitment to always providing the highest standards of customer service. These contracts range from a €2m purpose-built facility for Wexford Credit Union and the €3.4m reconstruction of the Centenary Stores Night Club, to the extension and refurbishment of Gorey Bookshop, and the construction of a new garage and showroom for Tony Roche Car Sales, Wexford. We have also been heavily involved in the development of commercial and retail space - most notably Greenacres Store in Wexford, ESB Branch Headquarters, Enniscorthy, and a new €6.5m office development in Millennium Park, Naas, Co Kildare.

Greenacres Store, Wexford. Mythen undertook this 2.5m euro refurbishment of an existing listed building, together with the construction of a modern extension to the rear.Wright Investment Ltd. This is a very prestigious office and apartment development in a tight town centre. It utilised some very unusual materials and features, such as a Kalzip curved aluminium roof, French limestone cladding and Schucco curtain walling.Wexford Credit Union. This is a new purpose-built facility at Ann Street, Wexford. The internal fitment of the building is elegant and restrained, and contrasts with the intricate faade detailing of the external elevations.The detailed glazed mezzanine walkway in Wexford Credit Union. Here, Mythen Construction has created a quality public building of which the whole county may be proud. Another project that was completed within budget and on time.Two identical buildings - Sycamore House & Elm House were completed on time to a demanding programme. The buildings are steel framed and have brick & plaster external facades. Internally the offices were fully fitted out including air-conditioning and kitchenettes.Mythen Construction have completed a number of developments for the Sam McCauley medical & pharmacy chain. The building pictured contains a Medical Centre and a Day Spa which included specialist fit out works for each. The external finishes consist of limestone cladding with Curtain Walling to the rear of the building.The development of a new build headquarters for Stephen Carr Architects practice was always going to be a challenge. This flagship building known as The Arc is a complex shape and constructed predominately in timber frame.  The curved wall elements are finished in zinc with the balance of external wall finishes completed in an aqual panel colored render finish. This construction method allowed the flexibility in the design of elements of the building required to turn drawings & models into on site reality.  A woodchip heating system will be installed. The central stairwell houses an exposed lift shaft with an ornate steel staircase wrapped around it.  Description: This Project was finished one month prior to contract completion date. Considering the range and extent of external & internal finishes involved we consider this to be a huge achievement. Work started on site with the demolition of almost the entire existing building. Careful planning was required to complete the works safely at this busy town centre location. 
The external envelope consists of large panel copper cladding, stone cladding & curtain walling. A complete fit out of the building was included also.
